Bengal Tiger

The Bengal tiger (Panthera tigris tigris) is a symbol of strength and beauty, native to the forests and grasslands of India and neighboring countries. With its striking orange coat and black stripes, the Bengal tiger is one of the most iconic animals in the world.

Bengal tigers are apex predators, preying on deer, wild boar, and other large mammals. They are solitary and territorial, with each tiger patrolling its own area. Sadly, habitat destruction and poaching for their skins and body parts have left them endangered. Conservation programs, including protected reserves and anti-poaching measures, are vital to ensuring their survival.
